After last year’s Blind Date – Michael Schumacher’s evenings of improvisation with Polish musicians – which were hailed as a great event, this year we invite you to another artistic meeting. This time, unique “duels” of dance and sound will be fought by artists from Poland and Israel. The principle remains the same – we send young choreographers and musicians on three blind dates, but this time the scale is bigger because it is a group… as with any blind date, you never know what might happen. Will they fit together? Will they like each other? Will there be a spark? And what if the dialogue doesn’t stick at all?
Despite so many question marks, Polish and Israeli artists have taken up the challenge and allowed themselves to be matched. The result will be three more unique performances – improvisations, each in a different corner of Stary Browar, in which the energy of Polish and Israeli dancers-improvisers will meet with music by Polish and Israeli artists. We will see Yossi Berg, Oded Graf, Arkadi Zaides, Adam Scheflan, Anita Wach, Renata Piotrofska, Rafał Dziemidok, the Pulsarus ensemble, among others, and – as in every improvisation – there will be surprises as well…
