I am interested in the way in which various and disparate actions or even more developed performative materials communicate and form meaning when read in the same spatial-time relationship.

So I’m thinking about the kind of stuff that makes us laugh and the stuff that makes us emotionally unstable or moved, makes us feel uncertain, makes us think a bit harder and even the stuff that gives us a goose bumps. Trying to ascertain how those moments arise, how we might invoke them, feed them and bring them into dialogue with other incongruent or unfamiliar material. We will work with progressive accumulation in the space accessing how each person or action can co-exist as both complimentary to the whole and independently strong. We will work with strategies for generating and then transforming text and movement material. Some of the aspects we will focus on are the organization of time, what is happening on the edges, listening to create a shared soundscape, embracing mistakes, making diversions.
