Saskia Hölbling – Exposition Corps, Dans.Kias.Doc
01.06.2006
Studio Słodownia +3

Saskia Hölbling, Austrian “body composer” and popular choreographer, presented an exciting new solo. In “exposition corps” she continues her intense analysis on the subjectivity of the body, initiated brilliantly in the controversial group choreography “other feature”. Hölbling now enters a new phase of ambitious experimentation by focusing on the theme of bodily memory, the endless contest between remembering and forgetting…

Saskia Hölbling returns to her roots. (…) she works on her body as if it were made of clay. (…) Inspired by the portraits of the photographer Laurent Goldring, the choreographer leads us with feeling and intelligence into a secret world where it is still possible to feel passion. This is dance without any inhibitions. / “Liberation”
