Since we have rejected concepts such as the soul, our relationship with the body has become extremely complicated. Although we are still subject to processes of an emotional nature, we have the capacity for rational-medical analysis of these processes. So where does our identity lie? Actually, why does it exist? And yet, identity is the only thing that gives us the ability to separate ourselves from the disorderly mass of matter. So, if identity is our body and everything in it, where is the boundary between the physiological part of the body and the part that constitutes my identity? “I” has become a thing, or conversely, things have become me. Whatever we call it, everything becomes a platform for experimentation and consumption.
