Ramona Nagabczyńska works as a dancer, choreographer and performer in London (where she used to live) and in Poland. She started her dance education at Warsaw Ballet School. She then continued her studies in contemporary dance at the Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt under the direction of Dieter Heitkamp and members of The Forsythe Company. A year later she moved to London where she attended the London Contemporary Dance School. In the season 2005/2006 she worked in the Polish Dance Theatre in Poznan. After returning to London she began working with Codigo Dance Project, Darkin Ensemble, Clod Ensemble, Tom Dale Company and 30 Bird. Since 2008 she has been a member of the collective Universal Law of Impermanence (U/LOI) founded by Kaja Kołodziejczyk, previously associated with the Brussels-based group Rosas. The creative process of their performance “Brith Out” took place, among others, in Stary Browar (the Old Brewery) in March 2008 as a part of the project “Resonance”, and had its premiere in Warsaw CCA during ROZDROŻE 2008 festival.
