This performance is not representing a linear story told from beginning to the end. It is meant to be a discourse on the borders of our acts and emotions.
What can we sacrifice for being loved or to love others? How do we perceive ourselves and how do the others perceive us? What do we feel saying things we shall never speak out? How to speak to express emotions successfully enough? Is turning the other cheek not the best solution?
The solo is an expression of freed emotions, unconscious provocations, lack of consequence and stubbornness in actions.
I’m hurt, I fall to the ground,
I give you my hand to stand up.
I stand on the ground, I stand face to face,
I look for a help, sometimes I get that.
I look for support, sometimes they don’t turn away.
I miss love but I always know where to look for it.
When others miss it, I cannot give a lot.
I want to be listened to, I do not listen to the others,
I’d like to be myself, sometimes I pretend,
I respect the others
… and thy neighbor as thyself
