Tournee of POLYPHONIES has been accompanied by an open  dance workshop, in which the international team of the Yanka Rudzka Project offered audiences the opportunity to practice Brazilian samba, Armenian kochari, Georgian svanuri and Polish oberek. The workshop celebrated the JOY present in all traditional dances (regardless of latitude) by evoking the ecstatic dimension of dance, inherent in this art at its very roots. Following the creative process of Polyphonies it proposed taking the dances apart to reconstruct them in a new context – meeting in practice and practicing the meeting in a surprising place – on the techno dance floor!
