In the world of today the oppositions between the real and the imagined are challenged. The virtual is not unreal whilst the imagined and the subconscious determine facts. Concurrently, in the midst of a dizzying acceleration we are more and more eager to confront the world of machines and the often discredited albeit still valid vision of reconciliation and harmony between the humankind and nature.
The show/concert The Forest is a personal search for diverse relations with a given environment. It is consent to the transformation of a reality which is a network of interdependent elements.
The environment in the show is provided by the audio system, including its full potential. The artist establishes relations with the objects that surround her and the sounds produced. We observe that opposing subjects and objects, the imagined and the real, the natural and the artificial becomes blurred and looses its power.
