In early April 2014, another Polish Dance Platform took place in Bytom!

This biannual festival of Polish dance aims to present and promote the most interesting dance productions made in Poland or by Polish choreographers abroad. The event is well known to the Poznań audience because three editions – in 2008, 2010 and 2012 – were held in Poznań in collaboration with Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk and the Zamek Culture Centre. Since 2013, the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw has been the main organizer of the Polish Dance Platform, and the festival has been held every two years in a different city in Poland.

Within an intensive Encore! weekend in Poznań, Poznan audience had the opportunity to see some of the performances staged during this year’s platform in Bytom. With the support of the Institute of Music and Dance and in cooperation with Aula Artis, we had the pleasure of sharing an exciting experience of the latest Polish dance productions.
