Many of the works in the “Illegibility” exhibition were various words, sentences, signs turned into three-dimensional objects. This is nothing new! After all, how much Braille or Indian string writing has in common with sculpture. At the workshop you could scribble with impunity. “We close our eyes and let our hands guide us!” Children tested if they could turn scribbles into…bas-reliefs!
