Jaroslaw Trybuś has been practicing the profession of curating exhibitions about architecture for several years. How to present problems and issues related to the design of buildings and spaces through a gallery or museum exhibition? How to use the exhibition mechanisms of art for the purposes of architecture? Trybuś seems to have discovered quite quickly how to do this, what’s more – how to do it well, since his first exhibition was a presentation in the Polish Pavilion at the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale.

The second (practical) part of the master class with Jaroslaw Trybus, which took the form of a homework assignment. Based on the concept of the exhibition at the 2008 Architecture Biennale, which Trybuś together with Grzegorz Piątek won the competition for the national presentation in the Polish Pavilion (read about the details in the previous post), the participants were tasked with preparing descriptions of curatorial ideas adapted to the recommendations of the recently concluded competition organized by Zachęta Gallery.
