The Swan Lake project is the third meeting of Mikołaj Mikołajczyk with the “Wrzos” Singing Group from Zakrzewo. The current project closes the cycle of the Zakrzewo Trilogy, which includes Now is the Time (2012) and the Nights and Days Project (2013).
This event celebrates also the 25th anniversary of the artistic work of Iwona Pasińska and Mikołaj Mikołajczyk.
Mikołaj Mikołajczyk about the performance: ‘Swan Lake Project’ is a story about dreams. What will remain after our lifetime? What memory of ourselves? They say that the future life will be devoid of what we already know. Let’s turn into swans and, to the rhythm of Tchaikovsky’s music, set off in search of that unknown, better world.
