The exhibition presented the works of photographers centered around the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan’s Photography Studium. Two floors of the Malt House were filled with very different realizations from classical photography, through various techniques, changing the traditional understanding of this medium, to computer and video installations. Commonplaces were understood here as a special kind of locis, in which the medium of photography reformulates the dialogue between individual works. The exhibition sought to redefine the concept of photography. The formal and thematic diversity made it possible to say that, paradoxically, the rigid framework of a specific medium suddenly becomes fluid and blurred, and photography becomes a field of possibility or visibility. Twenty-six artists participated in the exhibition. The various strategies they used reflected the contemporary changes taking place in the visual arts space. The hybridization in the space of many media, the blurring of boundaries has important consequences, and communicates significant transformations in media aesthetics.
