In this workshop choreographer Kenneth Flak (Norway) and light designer Thomas Dotzler (Sweden) explore the possibilities of creative use of light and movement together with the participants. The starting point for the work is the desire to create choreographic material in dialogue with the light, instead of simply adding light after the ovements have already been created. In the workshop we will approach the subject in a practical, investigative manner, searching with the participants for new ways of interaction between these elements. Project draws a lot of inspiration from E H Gombrich’s theories on visual perception.
