The art of deufert&plischke /artistwin berlin is essentially created collaboratively. In their latest production “Durcheinander”, deufert&plischke joined twenty-five other artists and intellectuals to create a twenty-four hour artistic situation together. In recent years deufert&plischke have become increasingly interested in social processes and the social logistics of making art, understood as giving form to that which does not yet have form. During the coaching, Kattrin Deufert will introduce the participants to the method of “reformulation”, a process based on collaborative writing. Through the exchange of written concepts, common material will be created, which can then be used for further creative work. She will also introduce some key figures accompanying the duo work (e.g. the mythological Arachne) and use them to link actions and thoughts together. The goal of coaching is for different people to work together on their chosen themes and to incorporate different practices into one creative process.
