We extend an invitation to a lecture by Stach Szabłowski accompanying Jenny Holzer’s exhibition at Art Stations gallery, open till the end of August.

The lecture will be devoted to different ways of depicting words, the act of writing on paintings, the visibility of the text and its showing/reading/watching in contemporary visual arts.

Stach Szabłowski (b. 1973) – art historian, curator, critic and journalist. He works as a curator at Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski in Warsaw. His texts are published in various exhibition catalogues, art publications and magazines, including: Przekrój, Zwierciadło, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, Obieg. He currently lives and works in Warsaw
