Cry-baby. Cry-no-cry baby! I can’t even breathe. Such a life. That’s the job. Sometimes you just don’t want to talk to anyone. Sometimes the pain is too much. It’s all done. You can’t change it. Roar! And let others live. Professionally. For show. Lament. Hysteria. Sobbing. That oh! Do you ever worry if “your life means something”? What will you leave behind? And who will weep for you? Don’t worry about anything! It will get done. Such as.
Mourning is a rather unpopular subject these days. By creating “The Mourners” we wanted to juxtapose tradition and modernity, and to look at different variants of “experiencing” it, as well as telling about it. By creating scenes that alternate between serious, ironic, funny, sad, and sometimes grotesque, we try to play with the audience’s sensitivity, entangling them in emotional traps, and sometimes revealing the structural mechanisms of the show. “Weepers” is an interactive performance, breaking the barriers of the stage, building intimacy in a close encounter between the viewer and the artist. Our presence and concentration are put to the test in moody or semi improvised actions in confrontation with the audience.
