First of monthly sessions responding to created by pandemic invitation – an opportunity to pause, to suspend business as usual, a chance to create time, and make space for deep reflection. Open to public Saturday session invited to series of talks, listening and sharing sessions with a clear call to slow down & listen. Listen to understand. To Others, Others’ narratives, to Ourselves. For this edition, Joanna Leśnierowska, the curator of the session, asked many artists and thinkers to write a letter to the participants of the project. The epistolary form allowed for personal reflection, a report on the state of mind and body and testimony to the heroic struggle of each of us fighting many crises at once. The letters came in many different forms – written, as well as video and audio. Patryk Lichota, multimedia artist, created a virtual gallery The Grand VR Union, where the collected materials were placed, inviting everyone to a virtual journey through the planet Grand re Union.
