At the halfway point of the project, the initiators of Grand re Union – Marta Keil, Joanna Leśnierowska, Julie Phelps, Peter Pleyer, Rivca Rubin – invited the public to reflect together on Grand re Union’s plans, intentions and activities to date. The January session was an answer to the belief all project’s participants play a part in the movement, and with Grand re Union we start from where we are – deeply embedded in the practices, capacities, and shortcomings of the postmodern dance field. We’re showing up to be changed and offer what we have.
