The exhibition was composed of circa 50 offset prints combined with a drawing jointly titled Sunrises. The prints are based on photographs, which are strongly connected with the author’s emotional mythology. The selected stills included pictures taken by Rolando, her closest family members and an anonymous photographer from the early 20th century. All the photographs seem far from homogenous, but the selection of the works was predicated on a deliberate emotional key; it is the pictures selected by the author that harbour an extraordinary mystery and inspire all kinds of stories. For the author, all the works making up the Sunrises series are a kind of matrix that she reuses in her visual arts and literature. The exhibition was part of the artist’s doctorate.
