The triptych titled: “centrifugal fascination_twothreefour” was created by Anna Piotrowska for her 44th birthday. The series of performances includes: “ce_real mothers” (Anna Piotrowska, Małgorzata Piotrowska), “composition_third reality” (Joanna Chitruszko, Anna Piotrowska, bass guitar: Aleksandra Piotrowska) and “no man’s land” (Anna Piotrowska, Kamil Bończyk, Alexey Torgunakov, beatboxing: Dominik “Domix” Franusik; set design: Adam Królikowski).

The main reason for creating the triptych was the desire to face, first of all, the issue of composition through settings and numerical relations in space, which were explored with the aspect of relations, art and philosophy. The main thread of Anna Piotrowska’s choreographic project was the fascination with composition, which appeared in three choreographic forms: duet, trio and quartet. What is important is that the choreographer created works from the inside, dealing not only with the composition but also with the relationships in its inner perspective. Importantly, various personal and formal aspects of relationship and presence in relationship were addressed in the work.

The first and second parts featured Anna Piotrowska’s daughters Aleksandra and Małgorzata for the first time. This is a very important moment not only personally, but also as an expression of the artist’s  great curiosity of the family relationship in the professional world. Curious about how passions and understanding of the world translate into working with her daughters, who have so far always been behind the scenes.

Another important artistic encounter is the performance “composition_third reality” with Joanna Chitruszko, with whom Piotrowska has previously made three works: “square in the closet”, “chAAnge of  weather” and “PLEA PLEA-  hedonistic unpleasant history of pleasure”. What matters here is mutual fascination, fidelity and faith in what the artists create together through art.

The last proposal is a quartet, which through the participation of the choreographer becomes also very personal. The show was created from the everyday work of a dancer, a mover, a performer, from the systematic contact in the dance studio and in the artistic life of running for 4 years the Rozbark group. “No Man’s Land” is born from the total presence of the dancer, who is in a state of emptiness and in a small area, creates himself in relations without relations. The centrifugal configuration of personalities consists of Anna Piotrowska, Kamil Bonczyk, Alexey Torgunakov and musically Dominik “Domix” Franusik.
