For several years now, my work has been an ongoing research and creation process concerning relative subjectivity (i.e.: being what kind of person we practice dancing specific dances). Or better said: my work is an ongoing research and creation process concerning the question of entanglement of the subject (it is about how we are indeed connected, how far we are defined by the relations we are part of). And actually, it is about noticing and sharing variables – a practice that underpins every act of attention (so it is about the possibilities and limits of our knowledge in the actual time of dancing).

Let’s put aside the parentheses and simply say: the dances I want to offer as a basis for exchange in discussion and dance are conceptual scores for the exercise of the dancing subject, which will be based on externality, relationality, and the constant experience of alterity (within and beyond the self) as the limit of a sense of interiority, autonomy, and knowledge (understood as a form of mastery).

In this way, we could also obtain a kind of sub-participation to observe how the idea of the subject so framed affects the concept of group and community.
