The German Theatre o.N. is the organizer of an international theater festival for the youngest FRATZ, which includes the premiere of a play and a scientific symposium on theater, dance and art education for the youngest children.
This independent group has been active for over 35 years in the Prenzlauer Berg district, which can safely be called the children’s center of Berlin. Over the past five years, the o.N. Theatre has specialized in creating performances for the youngest audience – children from the age of 2, which have been shown not only in Germany but also abroad. In 2014, the group, for its work, was honored with the George Tabori Award. The flying&falling performance is another step in the development of the language of art with which the theater’s creators communicate with the audience, and at the same time it is the first dance performance, aimed at such a young audience, realized on this stage. The show is produced in cooperation with the Polish partner – Art Stations Foundation from Poznan, which as part of its broad activity focused on contemporary dance, runs a program called Old Brewery New Dance (Stary Browar Nowy Taniec), in the framework of which it has been organizing dance activities for the youngest children for 5 years (Old Brewery New Dance for Children)
