Tomasz Rodowicz – director, actor, musician, pedagogue, at one time historian of philosophy and beekeeper.

Born in 1951 in Warsaw. Graduate of the History of Philosophy at the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw. Co-founder of the first sociotherapy center for drug-addicted youth in Poland. He cooperated with Jerzy Grotowski in 1974-1979, co-founder of the Centre for Theatre Practices “Gardzienice” and its member in 1977-2003, co-founder of the Theatre Association CHOREA and its leader since 2004. Artistic director of the Art Factory in Lodz since 2007. Artistic director of the International Theatrical Festival RETRO/PER/SPEKTIVY, artistic manager and director of the event Oratorium Dance Project CHOREA Łódź 2011 and 2012
