Liquid Loft is currently considered to be one of the most successful Austrian performance groups on an international scale. Founded in 2005 by choreographer Chris Haring together with musician Andreas Berger, dancer Stephanie Cumming, dramaturgue Thomas Jelinek and concept artist Katherina Zakravsky, Liquid Loft, in their performances and installations, always put contemporary dance in context with other contemporary art forms, thus creating a conclusive piece of art. Their distinct language of metaphors and forms, their special acoustic stage sets and their professional creation of dance has led to wide international recognition, such as the Golden Lion for the Best Performance at the Biennale di Venezia 2007.
