Mateusz Szymanówka – dramaturge and curator involved in contemporary performance, dance and choreography. He studied Cultural Studies, Theatre Studies and Dance Studies in Warsaw and Berlin. He has collaborated with Agata Siniarska, Korina Kordova, Ania Nowak, Marta Ziółek, Przemek Kamiński and Martin Hansen a.o. As a curator, he has created projects and programs for Nowy Teatr (showcase “Generation After”), Studio Theatre in Warsaw (two editions of Studio Dance Scene), Jan Tarasin Art Gallery in Kalisz (“Back (to) the Future” 2016), Museum of Art in Łódź (exhibition “Arrangements of Reference. Choreography in the Museum” – together with Katarzyna Sloboda 2016). In 2016 he received the Grażyna Kulczyk Research Scholarship in Contemporary Choreography for the project Think Tank Choreography. He was a participant in the third cycle of the “Critical Practice (Made in Yu)” program.
