Kinestrefa is a foundation created by Zofia Tomczyk and Krystyna LAMA Szydłowska and at the same time, an artistic collective initiating movement-dance-performative-educational activities, and organized around improvisation, contact improvisation and widely understood dance. We have a great need to move and act. Despite the fact that each of us grew up on different grounds, together, out of the need for development, self-realization and infecting others with our passion, we established a foundation. Our goal is to popularize dance regardless of origin, age, profession or experience. We also want to integrate the artistic environment through the organization of interdisciplinary performance actions. We operate mainly in Poznan, where we come from, together with befriended institutions, festivals and cultural animators. We are willing to travel and cooperate with institutions located outside our backyard, city and country.
