Good Girl Killer was founded in 2005 by artists from the Gdansk area: dancers Magda Jędra and Anna Steller, and musicians Zbigniew “Zibi” Bieńkowski and Grzegorz Welizarowicz. GGK’s artistic projects formally and ideologically obliterate boundaries between different kinds of art, as well as between “high” and “popular” culture; they also employ technological inventions, and sentimentally refer to the past. The ensemble’s stylistics is defined by its members’ experiences and opinions; it is a true reflection of their fascinations and varied experiments, both past and present.
