Since 2004 we have been traveling the world and sharing the vision, practice and activities of Contact Improvisation & Improvisation, moving between Europe and the Americas to offer intensive CI workshops and develop Improvisation-based projects. Together we created “SKIN PROJECT” Interactive Performance, a transdisciplinary format/project for dancers, musicians and video artists. It has been implemented in Freiburg ’06, Moscow ’06, Rosario ’07, Strasbourg ’07, Montevideo ’08, Zurich ’08, Warsaw ’10, Valparaiso ’11, Warsaw ’15, Kiev ’17.

Through constant collaboration, our interests constantly influence each other, creating diverse and surprising paths. We share a passion and curiosity for traveling into the unknown, real-time spontaneity, and exploring the wisdom of the body. Dani’s interests lie in the details and abilities of attention and imagination. This, along with Ecki’s fascination with corporeality and its limits, immerses us in perceptual research and sensory exploration, discovering the possibility of dialogue through dance. We continue to nurture our work together by teaching and collaborating with other artists. Since 2000 we are both part of the organizing team of Contact Festival Freiburg in Germany (www.contactfestival.de ). Since 2013 we have also co-founded the transdisciplinary improvisation collective LdB: a generator of encounters and spaces to be disrupted by creative differences between musicians, dancers and visual artists.
