Dalija Aćin Thelander (b. 1974) is one of the most interesting contemporary choreographers working in the field of art for children. She is a graduate of the Lujo Davičo Ballet School in Belgrade and has expanded her experience and skills during numerous classes and residencies across Europe. She has presented her works at a number of prestigious international festivals, for instance Impulstanz, Tanz im August and the Urban Festival (Kiasma), in addition to some major festivals in Serbia, including BITEF, BELEF and Infant. Dalija has worked with many international directors and artists. She has created several dance performances for children, including two for babies. One of the latter, „The book of roaming”, received an award at the Serbian TIBA Festival. Her shows have also successfully toured Korea and Japan.
