Andrew Morrish is an independent performer, researcher and teacher of improvisation dividing his time between Europe and Australia. He began his work with improvisation in 1982 at Al Wunder’s Theatre of the Ordinary in Melbourne. In 1987 he formed the duo “Trotman and Morrish” with fellow theater founder Peter Trotman, and performed extraordinary improvisations on stages in Australia and the United States until 1999, when Andrew moved to Sydney to focus on developing solo improvisation practice.

Andrew performs and teaches improvisation and undertakes numerous collaborations in Australia and Europe. He has taught and performed in Australia (Melbourne, Perth and Sydney), France (Paris, Ladornac and Royaumont), Switzerland (Zurich), Germany (Berlin, Cologne and Leipzig) and the UK (Huddersfield, London and Bristol), as well as in Finland (Tampere), Norway (Oslo) and Poland (Poznan), and Estonia (Viljandi), Sweden (Stockholm) and Croatia (Hvar).
